A Carbon Offset Christmas!
If all you want for Christmas is to reduce your, or a friends, Carbon Footprint and support a Renewable Energy New Year check out our new site for making tax deductible donations!
COREM will have installed 3 Community Owned Solar projects, totaling 27 kW, by the end of this year. These installations help decarbonise, democratise and decentralise our current polluting electricity network. Projects also support community groups save money on their electricity bills (as current projects – the Drill Hall Theatre, Mullumbimby Showgrounds and the Brunswick Valley Rescue Service – now know!).
These funds build a group’s long term financial resilience, but also part of the savings “Pay it Forward” to help install COREM’s future Community Owned solar projects. In early 2017 COREM is looking to install solar on the Mullumbimby Museum and the Federal Hall. By making a tax deductible donation, you are growing COREM’s Revolving Community Energy Fund and you will receive a carbon offset card with the carbon reduction impact calculated. This can be a perfect gift for someone who has it all, or your gift to keep a cooler planet.
