This event is also a fundraiser to put solar on the Drill Hall!
COREM is combining forces with Byron Shire Council to develop a solar PV system where members of the community can invest in solar and get a return on that investment. We are currently planning on installing between 60kW and 90kW of solar on the Valences Rd STP. We have done the on-site assessments and will soon be calling for proposals to install the PV system. After that we will be advertising the investment to the community so watch this space!
Together with Mullum Music Festival we are investigating installing a solar PV system on the iconic Drill Hall in Mullumbimby. We are using a range of options to raise funding for this project, including sponsorships, crowdfunding and even pass-the-buckets donations – whatever it takes to get it over the line!
